Now in our fourth year and going from strength to strength - rusailing was founded out of a passion to deliver a totally new experience to those ready to enjoy it. Our continuing philosophy is to provide the best possible Sail Training Experience to our clients. Our continued growth, without advertising, is testament to our success and we have steadily become the Algarve's leading sail training provider.

Rob, our principle and Chief Instructor, loves anything at all involving the sea. He is a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster and Ocean Yachtmaster who has covered all aspects of RYA training. He is a registered and active Yachtmaster Instructor with the RYA. Rob has as much enthusiasm as you can handle whilst being an excellent and patient instructor with empathy for those new to the sport. His feedback from students is incredible.

He is always keen to search out new areas and find exciting locations to explore and enjoy. Whilst he's not sailing, he's err.. sailing! From radio controlled Marblehead class model yachts to his beloved 1953 Firefly Dinghy, he's never too far from the water.

Jules, the front person for our company is also a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster and active Cruising and Shorebased Instructor. She is, therefore, extremely well placed to advise on not only courses but also to answer any questions or queries that you may have. She shares Rob’s love of the sea and will join in when business allows. Jules will help you with any aspect of your booking along the way - from first contact to your farewell, she will do all she can to ensure your needs are met and any special requirements are catered for. Specific dietry requirements or special travel arrangements are no problem at all.

Having previously spent many years in high pressure management positions we at rusailing fully appreciate how important your leisure time is. With that in mind, we will personally do all we can to make your time with us the most pleasurable and memorable it can be whilst ensuring that you get exactly what you want from it.

All of the information and images throughout the website are our own. We use these rather than 'glossy' or 'racey' images taken from the internet so that you can see exactly who we are, where we sail and what you can expect when you join us. Our honesty has been paramount to our existence and is at the core of our ethics.
