My daughter and myself completed the 5 day Competent Crew Course last week. Both of us had no experience whatsoever what sailing is concerned.
Rob is a very passionate and professional instructor/examiner , patient, adopts to the individual’s needs and all is very briefed and explained.
We were 3 trainees on board and we rotated the tasks at hand : the helm, the sails,… One can only say that it is his way of instructing that results in optimum experience and hands on built up.
We were all very pleased with the whole experience despite the rather rainy and sometimes windy weather we encountered that week : Rob anticipated all this and also explained the decisions that he made because of the weather: he let the trainee in into his decision making process. That is professionalism ! He always remained calm as well.

The communication with Rusailing , administrative and other, is excellent too: Jules takes care of our emails with questions and response is quick and to the point. Thank you Jules !
We are looking forward to work with Rob and Jules again in the future.
